This was brought up in guildchat yesterday, and I just wanted to throw the idea out to whomever is reading the forums these days...

I've noticed, in my attempt to get the silly achievements, that the low level dungeons (and raids) aren't credited.  So despite killing Hakkar, going through Sunken Temple, etc - none is credited.

Although not a priority, I'd love to go back and get these credited.  And along the way, it's probably a great way for us to have a laugh (how many of us would it take to down Hakkar now?!?) and possibly bring some lower level alts or newer members with us.

Hell - if you want to make this a recruitment tool for up and coming players (I have seen quite a few lately), it might work... if we're pressing to deepen membership again.

Anyone interested?  And if so, what are your thoughts about a schedule (regular, just sporadic, etc.)?

Im totally down for this. I think we could even use it as team building exercises somewhat since we have a couple of people who are going to start raiding that never have before. Plus bringing down bosses with an eighth of the people it used to take is pretty damn fun Very Happy

sounds like a really good idea. the hard part is getting a group of people to want to go and do it.

though, more people have been logging on at the same time (more than 10!) and we could get at least 6 or 7 people to try and do something. If we could 5 man,( or 2 man in buritto's and fisher's case) onyxia, then we can do MC or ZG with that amount of people as well.

I think this is a good idea. i for one am always willing to go back and do a lower level dungeon for the achievement with some guildies. I also think that we could also help some lower level guildies/alts aswell. another thing is raiding some of the places we couldnt when BC was wut we were playing. Now we could run those in half the time and possibly gear some guildies/alt with gear we couldnt get back then since kara wuz the farthest BB got. now with more players on daily it would be cool to go back and dig deeper into past content like say black temple. that wud be a awesome achievement.

I have done several dungeons that I never had done in the last 4 years.  They're interesting, but not something that I think I really missed out on back when vanilla WoW was out.  Somethat I've soloed but never done before were Uldaman, Wailing Caverns, the Razorfen duo and Blackfathom Depths.

In fact, since the levelling from 1-60 is so much faster now, most players probably won't ever bother with many of those original dungeons other than getting the achievment points.

A couple things Abu and I have been discovering:

- If you're raising your rep with Horde cities and are sick of buying runecloth in the AH, head into Strat.  About 45 minutes of just plowing through the mobs, and you'll gather about 150 runecloth or so.

- I know I'd love to see the old dungeons & raids that BB never was able to get to - running Molten Core, AQ40, or some of the post-Kara dungeons.

If folks are interested, I'll just toss some random low-level dungeon days into the calendar - with no real invitees listed (more of a "come as whomever..." setup).  I'll wait until after the Elder Coin days are over, though - since that's currently the instance priority outside of Naxx.
